The Farmers’ Dialogue International Association has just elected its first President. He writes: 'It is with a humble heart that I accept this position to work as a Phil Jefferys with Jamil Ssebalu from Uganda at the Training of Trainers in Kenya November 2012servant leader keeping in mind that Farmers' Dialogue has grown out of individual people having a vision and a purpose, in the need to ensure that enough food is produced to feed a global population.'

The next step will be the election of a Committee which will slowly take on the coordination work done by the International Skype Group meeting every month. A General Assembly is already planned at the time of the next International Farmers’ meeting which will take place in DR Congo, South Kivu, 18-21 November 2013.
